  • North End lost 8-0 twice in matches during the war - away to Man City on 26 February 1916 and away at Liverpool during September 1918.
  • North End's best result was 6-0 against Bolton in March 1916.
  • There were several players that played games for North End. Most PNE players were away fighting in the war, so North End relied on soldiers based at nearby Fulwood Barracks.
  • Players from 43 different football clubs played for North End during the war years.
